Reddit’s r/WallStreetBets is a message board that drove a crowd-sourced short-squeeze in GameStop Corp. and other meme stocks in January. The action finally began unwinding the week of February 1, but not before Redditors took the markets on a wild ride that flummoxed regulators and those previously oblivious to the r/WallStreetBets phenomenon.
